Janel Diamond (she/they) is a queer artist who has been tattooing since 2014. She is the co-owner of Atomic Tattoo Lounge alongside Cam, and is the former co-owner of Feral Tattoo. Janel was born in California, and now resides in Minneapolis, MN (Mni Sota Makoce).

When she is not tattooing and making art, you can find her watching every movie, exploring nature, vintage shopping, and spending time with her husband, Cam, and their dog, Bandit. Janel loves being near the ocean, enjoys charcuterie boards, engaging in deep discussions, capturing memories, and creating meaningful traditions with her family and friends.

Her tattoo style is dotwork realism. Janel mainly tattoos flash artwork which is inspired by her personal writings and paintings. She sometimes takes on custom projects based on her schedule availability.

Cam Bennett (he/him) is a Black artist, born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota (Mni Sota Makoce).

He believes: “Representation matters. When I look at myself and other Black people, I see the power of influence and I see resilience. We are powerful. We set trends, rooted in unique cultural experiences, and I hope to do that with my art and tattoos.”

Cam is passionate about expressing himself through fashion and his art, analyzing movies and shows, admiring furniture design and architecture, and creating and sharing music playlists of all genres. In his free time, you can find him sharing these treasures with his wife, Janel, going on adventures scenic drives, and obsessing over their dog-daughter, Bandit.

Cam is currently tattooing part-time while working his full-time job, but he is excited to embark on this new chapter of being a co-owner of Atomic Tattoo Lounge with his former mentor, wife, and now, business partner, Janel.

He is currently developing his tattoo style as a dotwork and linework illustrative artist.

Andy Jacobs (she/they) is queer interdisciplinary artist and tattooer from Minneapolis, Minnesota (Mni Sota Makoce). Her tattoo style is fine line with black and grey shading, she loves tattooing botanicals, critters, fish, rope, birds, and tools. She mostly focused on tattoo flash designs at the moment. In her studio art practice she explores ideas of ecology through weaving, textiles, and sculpture. She loves plants, soup, walking around, looking for four leaf clovers, thrifting, and crafts.

Lauren Troldahl (she/her) is an artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota (Mni Sota Makoce). Her tattoos are illustrative, fine line, with black and grey stipple shading. She's inspired by Mother Nature's creepy crawlies, critters, and botanicals, as well as antique trinkets and curiosities. She tattoos both flash and custom designs. Outside of the studio, Lauren is a collector of oddities, devourer of gothic novels, doting dog parent to Fern, and a roamer of the great outdoors.

Mantis Hubbard (they/them) a Queer Diné Artist from the Navajo Nation. Loves to tattoo Black and Grey Realism, Blackwork, Anime, Abstract, and Ornamental designs. Mantis tattoos both Flash and Custom designs. Due to their culture, they WILL NOT tattoo snakes, owls, or eclipses (lunar or solar).

When they are not tattooing, Mantis enjoys hardcore shows, cooking, watching anime, and taking their dog Bean to the lake.
